The Foothills Focus reports that Dr. Peter James Normann, who formerly practiced Allopathic Medicine in Anthem before having his license suspended and office shut down, was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents October 22 after landing at the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Normann, who was indicted on two counts of second-degree murder and one count of manslaughter in Phoenix on October 17, is charged in the deaths of three patients that died of cardiac arrest following procedures performed in his Anthem office. The charges, issued by a Maricopa County grand jury, came 15 months after the physician’s Anthem office was closed and almost two years after the first of three patients died after procedures performed in his office.

Two additional men face charges from the deaths that occurred between December 2006 and July 2007. They include Gary Page, a homeopath who was charged with one count of manslaughter and Jose Andres Lopez, a licensed massage therapist who was charged with eight counts of practicing medicine without a license from December 2006 to April 2007.

Normann is being held in the Boone County Jail until he can be sent back to Arizona.
